This website is MP3 to Lyrics, available at https://mp3tolyrics.com. Alias domains such as audiotolyrics.com may also reach this site. Questions about this policy go to privacy@mp3tolyrics.com.

It covers https://mp3tolyrics.com, the lyric extractor, advertising shown on the pages, and Google Analytics if it is enabled. It does not cover Google, Groq, Cloudflare, YouTube, TikTok, or other sites you visit after leaving this service.

You do not create an account. We do not ask for your name, billing details, or a login. We do not run a user database of your song files or downloads.

Your song is decoded in the browser. The file stays on your device until you press Extract. Those files are not uploaded unless you start that listening step.

Exports (plain text, LRC, SRT) stay on your device until you save them. Closing the tab or clearing browser data removes in-memory project state.

If you start a listening or timing step, short pieces of audio (and any title or artist text you typed) are sent to our Worker and then to Groq Whisper so words can be read from the vocal. That happens only after you press the action. Groq processes the request under Groq’s privacy policy. We do not use your audio to train our own models, and we do not keep a public library of your songs.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Request logs may include IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP. Cloudflare may process that data to deliver the site, absorb abuse, and keep the service available. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

If Google Analytics 4 is enabled, it is used to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, and movement between the tool and legal pages. We do not send your song files or generated downloads to Analytics.

Google’s processing is described in Google’s privacy policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We use Google AdSense and related Google advertising services to show ads. Ads help keep the tool free. The following disclosures are required by Google:

• Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to your website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings. You can also visit www.aboutads.info to opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising.

Other ad technology partners working with Google may also place or read cookies, use web beacons, or collect IP address and device identifiers to serve, measure, and combat fraud on ads. Vendor lists and opt-out tools appear in Google’s ads settings, in a consent message if one is shown, and on www.aboutads.info.

We and our partners store or access information on your device. That includes cookies, pixels, and browser local storage. Details, purposes, and controls are in our Cookie Policy.

The tool may keep short-lived state in this browser so a page can finish a job you started. That stays on your device.

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

• Legitimate interests, to operate and secure a free website and understand basic traffic.
• Consent, where required for non-essential cookies, analytics, advertising storage, and personalized ads. You can refuse or withdraw consent through a cookie or consent message, browser controls, or Ads Settings.
• Contract or steps you request, when you ask us to read or process a file you provide.

Serving personalized ads in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland uses a Google-certified consent management platform when AdSense is configured for those regions.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability, including rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and similar US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA. You may also complain to a supervisory authority. Because we do not keep user accounts or song libraries, we often cannot match a request to a specific file you processed locally. Write to privacy@mp3tolyrics.com and we will help with what we hold, such as support emails. California residents may also ask us not to “sell” or “share” personal information as those words are defined in California law; we do not sell email lists, but advertising cookies can count as a “share.” Use Ads Settings and the Cookie Policy to limit that.

This site is a general-audience lyric extractor. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact privacy@mp3tolyrics.com and we will delete it.

Cloudflare, Google, and Groq may process data in the United States and other countries. Those providers use their own transfer mechanisms. By using the site you understand that your information may be processed outside your home country.

Browser project state lasts until you leave or clear it. Optional listening requests are processed to complete your action and are not kept as a public archive. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations. Support emails are kept as long as needed to reply and for legal records.

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
